AIR PRESSURE RECOMMENDATIONS
The right air pressure is crucial
When using racing tires, in addition to a good setup of the suspension and the right choice of compound, the correct air pressure also plays a major role.
-
Incorrectly set air pressure can significantly affect the performance and durability of a tire, and thus the driving pleasure. Our experience from many racetrack events shows that often, the air pressure is not correctly adjusted.
-
Too little air in the front tire means that you have less stability and the contour of the front tire becomes flatter. This significantly worsens the handling and steering behavior.
-
Too high air pressure in the rear tire results in a reduced contact patch of the tire. This leads to a loss in performance in terms of grip, worsens the inherent damping, and can lead to higher wear.
